A star in the sky that shines so bright,
And it starts to twinkle in the night.
The children look and point above,
To the little stars that form a dove.
They form shapes and animals in the sky,
But oh dear oh my, why so high?
We try to reach them from here below,
But all they can do is give us a show.
We can try to catch them in a jar
But why must they be so far?
The stars are what bring me my delight,
As they shine along in the moonlight.
